Well, after many many many months of debates, Tryphoon's Lair has been revamped and relaunched... Both blogs (Tryphoon's Lair and Californication) have been merged...
Which band or artist which is no longer performing or alive would you have loved to have seen?

Nirvana
I was a proud Daddy this morning when I heard a lovely "Bye Daddy" on the phone!
Other addition to the list of new skills: Potty training. First poop done yesterday evening... (I know, not really the kind of information you'd like to get but, hey, what can you do against it!)
It has now been a bit more than a 2 years since I've started blogging and I must admit, after several tests and I have to admit I really like Vox and most of the options available for it. Sadly, I am as well pretty proud to run my own domain name and hence like my tryphoon.com email address, my tryphoon.com page and my sub-blogs (move to US, daughter's like)... Well, I simply wish I could get that (Vox engine for my own domain name)...
I have been trying several web editors since then and honestly none of them is satisfying. Rapidweaver is great but media need to be kept on your hard drive each time you publish a page, so don't delete that picture you took randomly somewhere or it'll be gone the next time you'll publish your side.
I then moved to iWeb and I really like the templates, the ease of edition but frankly, the publishing mechanism sucks! Exporting takes 10 minutes and then manual upload is hell. No built in comment or stats (unless I am a .Mac registered user) and site seems to be slow.
More recently, I checked Sandvox and it is really cool... Especially the voxlet concept. But again, it has its limitations and doesn't seem to have any extensions or extra themes available... So... I doubt I'll use it soon...
Which leads me back to Vox...
So I'll try to double publish most of my pages for the next few months and see what traffic looks like then...
Until then....
What is your favorite scent?

Routine as usual. Market and Starbucks are part of the morning...
This time, Thia explains to me that the Pain part of the Pain au Chocolat is simply useless and that we shall only eat the Chocolat part of it!
Then we go onto showing to the world how we now can drink our of a cup/glass, with a straw, on our own!
Another weekend, another visit to the local market and to the coffee house for a treat! Nothing new here!
But this time, Thia has decided to give us a demonstration on how can one only eat the chocolate part of the "Pain au Chocolat".
We then proved to the world that drinking with a cup and a straw can be achieved by any 20 months old baby!!! What a joke!!!
I am finaly back from my little trek around the globe and I just found this new video, taken while I was abroad, of my little Thia chatting with me, using our new webcam...
I know, nothing fantastic here, but this is a great new change for us and a look into what future communication with our both parents will be in a couple of months time...
Somewhere over the Pacific Ocean, between Los Angeles and Tokyo, forelast legg of my little "Around the World in 9 days" challenge...
Well, despite the news of Boeing ditching their on board Internet solution, I am delighted to get a taste of this feature on board ANA0005 to Tokyo...
I must admit, I am was as well (silently) pleased to have managed to beat Mike on this one, almost at the line, thinking I was experiencing this feature before him. Well... correction: I am beaten by a year!
The least I could do was hence to have a toast to the Cruftmeister! Sake please!
Connection is good, fast. Mostly reliable. Feels like a good 2 Meg ADSL old ISDN line. 7 access points are visible, according to iStumbler, all using the same name.
Cost is not prohibitive: $26 for the entire flight...
I have used various IM to show off and tell all my online friends.
One thing I'll avoid doing: VPN into the office and let people know I can reply to their emails! :)
Back to Sake!

What was the last wedding you went to? Were you in the wedding?
Last one was in Uzes, France, for Kate and Alexis' wedding. One week in sunny Provence. Fantastic place. Fantastic friends. Fantastic wedding.
